Mycelium Anniny Mosimann i Fernanda Munizagi to spektakl teatru materii ożywionej, w którym dźwięk i ruch są ze sobą nierozerwalnie splecione. Ciało i głos aktorki łączą się w ruchu z instrumentami, mikrofonami i innymi przedmiotami, w tym – z ciastem na chleb. W tej złożonej instalacji dźwiękowej wszystkie elementy wpływają na siebie nawzajem. Dookoła rozbrzmiewają instrumenty, w których zainstalowano przetworniki dźwięku. Aktorka reaguje na to, co słyszy – rozpoczyna misterną grę z dźwiękami. Na scenie buduje się szereg relacji – między instrumentami a materią, między ciałem a dźwiękiem. To dialog między dwoma artystami – po pewnym czasie nie wiadomo już, kto wysyła sygnały, a kto je otrzymuje. W tej sieci połączeń wszystko jest ze sobą ściśle powiązane, jak strzępki grzybni: drożdżowa masa, komórki skóry i urządzenia elektroniczne.

Mycelium is a material theatre performance by Annina Mosimann and Fernando Munizaga in which sound and movement are inextricably intertwined. Through the complex sound installation, the performer’s body and voice and the material sourdough are connected with instruments, microphones, and other objects influencing each other in their play. Instruments with so-called sound transducers are installed in the auditorium to generate sound. The performer on stage reacts to these sounds and interacts with them. The result is an interplay between instruments and the material, between the performers’ bodies and sound. This is a dialogue between two artists where it is no longer clear who is giving the impulses and who is receiving them. A piece in which yeast dough, skin cells, and electronics form a densely interwoven mycelium in which everything is connected.
